The first time in eight years, the Kihikihi Kings Superstock Team races against some of the most formidable competition that Superstock Teams Racing can put together. The team at the Huntly International Speedway have organised a cracker of an event inviting eight hard hitting teams to contest a big night with a huge crowd that will be an annual not to be missed event. Race format is a round of knockout heats, knockout Semi and the Final race crowning the champion. Rules are first past the post, so no points for 2nd, 3rd 4th etc. The first car to complete 12 laps wins the race for their team.

Race one – Kihikihi Kings draw the Rotorua Rebels and they battle it out for Kihikihi to take the win.

Race 2 – After some repairs it’s time for a great face off and victory over the Bay Park Busters from the Mount.

Race 3- The grand Finale for the night, the mighty but damaged Palmerston North Panthers fall to the new Kings. Unfortunatley the Panthers could only field 3 out of their 5 possible cars due to damage in the heats & semis. Nevertheless we were fortunate enough to experience a great night of Superstock Teams racing.
